Method

Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a lemon twist.

Documented in Harry Johnson's Bartenders' Manual (1900), with the drink named after Tuxedo Club, a private country club near Tuxedo Park, NY (established 1886); creator unknown.
